Esther Muthoni has been added to the FFHC Tanzania Central Committee as the program coordinator. She will be visiting families, attending leadership meetings and acting as translator and activist for the program. Esther is originally from Kenya and is now living in Tanzania. During the day she works for Pambazuka, a ministry in the Karatu district that provides education and services for children with special needs. During the past 2 trips FFHC US has taken to Tanzania Esther has been instrumental in assisting the teams by providing support and translation. She is a welcomed voice of wisdom and will add strength to the committee.
Welcome to the Board!
Margaret is a veterinarian with Christian Veterinary Mission. She has traveled extensively throughout Africa. In 2010 Margaret joined FFHC in Tanzania. She worked with FFHC veterinarian Joseph Kwaselema to vaccinate program goats. In November 2011 she again joined the team in Tanzania and stayed an additional 5 weeks during which time she conducted trainings for program families and networked with local veterinarians paid by the government. She plans to become a missionary to Tanzania working with FFHC in the Karatu district. She is a welcome addition to the board of directors and will be influential in the decisions being made to shape the organization. Her experience and passion is a wonderful asset.
