On September 26th, 2010 Food For His Children hosted their first celebration and silent auction. The event was a great success thanks to our very supportive and generous donors. God is good! About 150 people came through the doors and enjoyed an evening of fellowship while learning about the needs in Tanzania. Generous donors supplied about 130 items for the silent auction which brought about $8,000 for the ministry. We were also blessed by the vocal talents of the Messiah's Men's choir. A local goat farmer brought in two goats for the children to feed and milk. They also offered education tips on the care needed for goats. As a first event we learned a lot and look forward to next year!
